Restaurants Rally for Relief:  FFA Management Hospitality Group Donates $5,000 to Mercy Chefs for Central Texas Flood Recovery

In a powerful show of community and compassion, longtime restaurateur Mike McRae and his hospitality group, Fun For All Management—owners of McRae’s American Bistro & Cocktails in East Dallas, Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Rockwall Harbor, and the legendary Stan’s Blue Note on Lower Greenville—have raised $5,000 for Mercy Chefs, a nonprofit disaster relief organization providing hot, restaurant-quality meals to flood victims and first responders in Central Texas.

In less than a week, thanks to the generosity of their guests and coordinated fundraising efforts across the three restaurants, the FFAMGT team turned concern into action, raising $5000 to support flood relief in the central Texas town of Kerrville and surrounding areas.

“I’ve always believed that restaurants are about more than good food – they’re about people,” said Mike McRae, FFA Management founder. “When disaster strikes our fellow Texans, we don’t hesitate to step in. I’m incredibly proud of our team and our guests for coming together so quickly to support Mercy Chefs and the important work they are doing on the ground.”

Emphasizing the power of coming together, FFA Management encourages local businesses and individuals to consider ways they might contribute to the massive efforts underway. For more information on how you can help, visit mercychefs.com.
